ABOUT ANCIENT METHOD

The Method

Ancient Method began through a pursuit of a comprehensive art that would bring positive change and development to the body, mind, and spirit.

Ancient Method is a fitness program that was developed from both modern and timeless sources. Various martial arts, yoga, the National Academy of Sports Medicine's Optimum Performance Training (OPT) Model, meditation techniques, sound therapy, focus, and mindfulness training (and so much more...) are at the heart of the practice.

Ancient Method Fundamentals:

  • Efficiency: The program you will practice will maximize your progress in the least amount of time.

  • Mindfulness: Slow your thoughts down. Retrain your brain to analyze emotion through objective consideration. Smell the roses. 

  • Connecting. An inherent desire within each person is to connect with others. We'll work on connecting with the world in a positive and a fulfilling way.

  • Spirituality: You are not a body with a soul, you are soul with a body. The physical vehicle must function properly in order to transmit your soul through life.

You will need very little equipment other than a will to move forward and the force of gravity. Depending on the client's goals, various workout equipment may be necessary.
